Former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver RaRa Thomas has declared for the 2026 NFL draft. Thomas spent the 2025 college football season with the Troy Trojans and had one of the most productive years of his career.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound wide receiver dealt with off-the-field issues. He did not play for Georgia in 2024 and was dismissed from the team in the summer ahead of the 2024 season. Prior to his time at Georgia, Thomas played the first two seasons of his career with Mississippi State. He contributed 383 receiving yards and one touchdown during the 2023 season with Georgia and was expected to have a key role for the 2024 Georgia team prior to his arrest.

Thomas transferred to Troy during the offseason and posted 39 receptions for 629 receiving yards and five touchdowns with the Trojans in 2025. Thomas played in his final game during Troy’s Veterans Bowl defeat to Jacksonville State.

Thomas projects as a late-round pick or an undrafted free agent in the 2026 NFL draft. His combination of quickness, size and speed should give him a chance to play in showcase scrimmage ahead of the draft and he could be invited to the NFL combine.

In Thomas’ NFL draft declaration, he thanked God, his family, friends, teammates and Troy. “I will be declaring for the NFL draft,” Thomas said.
