UW Huskies standout senior running back Jonah Coleman officially announced on social media Monday morning that he’s declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Coleman, a bruising 5-foot-9, 220-pound back, rushed for 1,811 yards and 25 touchdowns over the past two seasons after transferring from Arizona to UW.

In 2024, Coleman became the 15th different player in Washington program history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. He 1,053 and 10 touchdowns at a clip of 5.5 yards per carry, while adding 23 receptions for 177 yards.

Coleman’s stats dipped a bit this fall as he dealt with a lower-body injury that sidelined him for one game and limited him for several others. He finished with 758 rushing yards, 4.9 yards per carry and 15 TD runs, along with 31 catches for 354 yards and two TDs.

Coleman is ranked as the No. 2 running back and the No. 55 overall prospect on Pro Football Focus’ 2026 NFL Draft big board.
