The Philadelphia Eagles have dodged a disciplinary bullet.

Eagles offensive lineman Tyler Steen will not be suspended after his involvement in Saturday’s fight with the Washington Commanders, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Steen’s actions will be reviewed for discipline in the form of a fine. The starting right guard will not be forced to miss Sunday’s Week 17 game against the Buffalo Bills.

Steen was one of three players ejected from the Eagles’ 29-18 win over the Commanders. The other two were Washington defenders Javon Kinlaw and Quan Martin.

The brawl stemmed from a successful two-point conversion by the Eagles late in the fourth quarter. Tempers flared, and pushing and shoving turned into some punches being thrown.

Steen has started all 15 games for the Eagles this season, taking over for Super Bowl champion Mekhi Becton, who left in free agency.

Steen, a 2023 third-round pick out of Alabama, has logged 534 offensive snaps and has allowed only two sacks as a first-year starter.
