The DeSoto native is a two-year starter for the Longhorns who received second-team All-SEC honors in 2025. In 11 games, he compiled 30 tackles and two interceptions. He allowed receptions on 61.8% of his targets and limited opposing receivers to just 4.9 yards per target when he was in coverage.

With his decision to move on, the Longhorns will now be tasked with replacing both of their starting corners from most of 2025. Jaylon Guilbeau is out of eligibility and will be going through the pre-draft process, too.

Underclassmen Kade Phillips, Kobe Block and Warren Roberson will be among the candidates to win those starting jobs this offseason.

The Longhorns’ defense at large will have to be rebuilt under new coordinator Will Muschamp. Anthony Hill Jr. and Michael Taaffe, both two-time All-American honorees, are also departing.Â
