In the Arizona Cardinals‘ 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, 20 players participated in at least one of the 77 defensive snaps, and 33 players participated in at least one of the 25 special teams snaps.
Two were on the field for all of the defensive snaps — cornerback Will Johnson and Mike linebacker Cody Simon. Safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson missed two and cornerback Denzel Burke seven, while safety Budda Baker and inside linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither each missed nine.

Robinson had his most active game in two NFL seasons with seven tackles (two solo/one for loss) and a fumble recovery. Tomlinson had three assists, Campbell two and Mustipher one. Campbell added a quarterback hit. In his 27 snaps before leaving with another knee injury, Nolen had one QB hit.

Davis-Gaither tied for the team lead with 11 tackles (five solo). Simon had seven tackles (two solo/one for loss) and a pass defensed. Collins had four solo tackles with two for loss. Browning had three solo stops. Ojulari had the only sack of Kirk Cousins and added two solo tackles (one for loss) and two QB hits. In his seven snaps, Sweat had one assist.

Taylor-Demerson had an identical tackles line as Davis-Gaither and had one pass defensed. Baker totaled 10 tackles (four solo) and a pass defensed. Johnson had two passes defensed plus three tackles (one solo). Before leaving with an Achilles injury, Williams had three tackles (one solo) in 12 snaps. Burke had an interception, one pass defensed and two tackles (one solo). In his first NFL game, Davis played 26 snaps because of the Williams injury. He had two tackles (one solo) and head coach Jonathan Gannon said, “I thought Jaden came in there and battled.” Crawford had a solo tackle.
Falcons wide receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney totaled five receptions for 51 yards, and London caught only three of his eight targets.

Ryland made four field goals, but missed from 44 and 50 yards. He also slipped on a kickoff that failed to reach the landing zone. His other five kickoffs were touchbacks. Haack had one punt for 51 yards and a 43.0 net.
Brooks had a 32-yard kickoff return and Sims, in his first Cardinals game, returned one for 30 yards.
Campbell blocked an extra point, his second block in two weeks and the 11th of his career. With no kickoffs returned by the Falcons and one punt, Pappoe was the only player credited with a tackle.
