Brock Purdy Had ‘Pretty Close to a Perfect Game’ While Making History, Says 49ers HC

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan had strong praise for quarterback Brock Purdy after Monday night’s 48-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

“He did awesome,” Shanahan told reporters. “He played really well. I got on him for a couple [throws] he missed, but it was pretty close to a perfect game.”

Purdy finished 25-of-34 for 295 yards, five touchdowns and an interception as the Niners shredded Indianapolis’ defense.
