The Denver Broncos have 10 players on IR going into Week 17, and fans will hope that number does not grow this week. Four players left Sunday’s game with injuries: linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring), safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee), tight end Nate Adkins (knee) and wide receiver Pat Bryant (concussion).

Last week, guard Ben Powers (biceps) was activated from IR. Next up could be linebacker Karene Reid (hamstring), who returned to practice last week. Another name to watch for a potential return in the coming weeks is linebacker Drew Sanders (foot).

Meanwhile, the Broncos have four players — fullback Michael Burton, guard/center Nick Gargiulo, pass rusher Johnny Walker and defensive end Matt Henningsen — on season-ending IR. They are not eligible to play again this season, barring a settlement and release from IR, which would allow them to join another club.

NFL teams can designate up to eight players to return from IR during the regular season. Denver has used six of those designations so far, including one for Sanders, who figures to return in the coming weeks. The Broncos will also be allowed to bring back two additional players during the playoffs, giving them 10 total players who could return this campaign.
