DETROIT- The NFL announced the Pro Bowl selections on Tuesday morning, featuring five players from the Detroit Lions. Linebacker Jack Campbell, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson, tackle Penei Sewell, and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown have all earned spots on the roster, with Campbell, Gibbs, Hutchinson, and Sewell named as starters.
This marks Campbell’s first Pro Bowl selection in just his third season. He has excelled as one of the best linebackers in the league, recording 159 tackles (83 solo), nine tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, and three forced fumbles this season, becoming the NFL’s first player since 2018 to achieve at least 150 tackles, 5.0 sacks, and three forced fumbles in a single season.
Gibbs, 23, solidified his status as one of the NFL’s most exciting young running backs, earning Pro Bowl recognition in consecutive seasons. He ranks seventh in the league with 1,102 rushing yards, and his 1,662 scrimmage yards place him eighth overall. Gibbs has scored 17 total touchdowns this season—13 rushing and four receiving—ranking second in the NFL behind Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts, who has 19.
Hutchinson, also 25, has tied his career high with 11.5 sacks this season, with two regular-season games remaining. He leads the NFL with 87 total pressures and ranks third with 30 quarterback hits. Hutchinson is the first player in franchise history to record multiple seasons with 10.0 sacks or more through the first four years of his career.
Sewell earns his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl selection, recognized as one of the premier right tackles in the league. Sewell has allowed only one sack and six quarterback hits in more than 15 starts this season and has been graded as the top tackle by Pro Football Focus with a score of 94.9.
St. Brown, 26, has been selected for the Pro Bowl for the fourth time in four seasons, catching 98 passes for 1,194 yards, averaging 12.2 yards per reception and scoring 11 touchdowns this season. He has surpassed Michael Thomas for the most receptions by a player through his first five seasons in franchise history, totaling 528 catches.
In addition to the five Pro Bowl selections, the Lions had five players named as alternates: quarterback Jared Goff (1st alternate), safety Brian Branch (1st), wide receiver Jameson Williams (4th), safety Kerby Joseph (5th), and tight end Sam LaPorta (5th).
