On Tuesday, Tennessee Titans returner Chimere Dike was named a Pro Bowl selection. The Tennessee Titans informed the standout rookie of the honor during a team meeting and Dike couldn’t help but smile.

It’s been a spectacular season for Dike, who the Titans selected with the No. 103 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dike boasts 41 catches for 341 yards and four touchdowns this season. However, he’s been even better as a return man.

Dike leads the league in all-purpose yards (2,269), kickoff returns (60), kickoff return yards (1,535) and yards per punt return (18.2). He’s returned two punts for touchdowns this season, one of only five players to do so.

Dike is the sixth rookie in Titans history to receive Pro Bowl honor since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger. He joins an elite group, including running back Earl Campbell (1978), quarterback Vince Young (2006) and running back Chris Johnson (2008).

Before bursting onto the NFL scene, Dike played college football at Wisconsin and Florida. Dike began his career at Wisconsin, where he spent three seasons before transferring to Florida.

Dike was fantastic in his lone season with the Gators. He finished the 2024 campaign with 42 receptions for 783 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite Dike’s individual success with the Titans this season, the team has struggled. The Titans are 3-12 and fired head coach Brian Callahan during the season.

In fairness, the team has shown significant improvement in the final stretch of the regular season. They’ve won two of their final three games, most recently defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in emphatic 26-9 fashion. Earlier this year, Chimere Dike discussed the importance of embracing the adversity facing the team.

“I think that the belief is still there within the group. And anytime you go through adversity in life, and we’re facing adversity early in the season, it definitely feels good when you’re able to come out the other side,” Dike said.

Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was the only other Titans player who earned Pro Bowl honors this season. He leads the team with nine sacks this season, along with 58 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles.

The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will be held on Feb. 3 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The event will feature a flag football game between the top players from the AFC and NFC. The Pro Bowl games will air live on ESPN.
