The Pittsburgh Steelers have brought in 12 players for tryouts on Tuesday. Per the NFL’s transactions sheet, the following players were looked at:

C: Matthew Cindric, Jarrod Hufford
OG: Braeden Daniels
OT: Josiah Ezirim, Jason Ivey, Sataoa Laumea, Corey Stewart, Lorenzo Thompson
DL: Ryder Anderson, Keondre Coburn, Christopher Hinton, Jahvaree Ritzie

This list of names consisted of offensive and defensive linemen, a contrast to last week’s list compiled of skill position players. While these moves could be an effort to build a list of depth for late-season injuries, it’s most likely intended as an early look towards building an offseason roster of Reserve/Future contracts. Pittsburgh regularly brings in hauls of players for late-season workouts before the regular season ends.

Coburn is among the most notable names on the list. A former 2023 sixth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs, he’s appeared in 20 NFL games with one start. In 15 games last season for the Tennessee Titans, Coburn recorded 14 tackles but is still searching for his first NFL sack. He spent the summer with the Las Vegas Raiders before being waived. Standing in at just over 6’1 and a listed 332 pounds during the pre-draft process, Coburn is regarded as a run stuffer.

Laumea started six games for the Seattle Seahawks a year ago, logging 358 total offensive snaps. But he failed to stick in 2025 and most recently spent time on the New Orleans Saints practice squad.

Anderson spent seven games with the New York Giants in 2022 but has yet to appear in a regular-season game since. He notched eight tackles and two sacks over that span. Hinton appeared in seven games with the Los Angeles Chargers from 2022-2023, combining for 13 tackles and zero sacks.

The rest of the group has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game. Most are rookies or second-year players who have already bounced around the NFL. Pittsburgh brought Thompson in earlier this year following Max Scharping’s injury, but did not sign him.

We’ll see what players impressed and circle back to the roster when Pittsburgh begins building its offseason 90 after the regular season or once the team’s playoff run is over.

Below is a list of available scouting reports we’ve written on the above players.
