The leader of Oregon’s offensive line will be back in 2026.
Ducks center Iapani Laloulu announced he will be returning for his senior season.
“First and foremost I wanna thank my Heavenly Father in; my lord and savior Jesus Christ !” Lalolulu wrote via Instagram. “I give you all the glory father for the blessings you’ve placed upon me ! I wouldn’t be here without you father GOD ! Thank you to my family and friends for your support,love and encouragement ! but after a lot of prayer and talks with my family ! I would like to say that I will be returning back to EUGENE for my last season !”
The fourth Oregon player to be a Rimington Trophy finalist, Laloulu was a first team All-American by the FWAA and third team selection by the AP.
He is the second draft-eligible player to announce his return to UO next season, joining defensive tackle Bear Alexander. With Lalolu returning, Oregon is projected to have 86 scholarship players, including 16 offensive linemen with two starts.
