The Detroit Lions (8-7) travel to U.S. Bank Stadium for a Christmas Day contest against NFC North rival Minnesota (7-8), where everything is on the line against the Vikings.
On Tuesday, the Lions revealed that they will be donning their alternate black uniforms with the blue trim, blue collars and alternate helmets.

Detroit has worn its alternates twice this season, topping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 24-9, on Monday Night Football on Oct. 20 and beating the New York Giants, 34-27, in overtime on Nov. 23.
The all-black jerseys and pants were revealed in the spring of 2024, along with updated home and road jerseys.
The Lions wore black three times last season, going 1-0 on Monday Night Football and 2-0 in night games. The Lions went 2-1 in all-black in 2024. they defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4 on Monday Night Football, and sunk the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18 to clinch the franchise’s first-ever No. 1 seed.

The Lions lost in black in Week 15 to the Buffalo Bills to snap a record 11-game win streak.
