The Cleveland Browns have officially signed OG/C Kendrick Green to the active roster off the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad.
The Steelers originally drafted Green in the 3rd round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and he spent time at both center and guard for Pittsburgh. He started 15 games at center as a rookie, but then moved to guard in his second year. Green unfortunately lost the competition to start at guard to Kevin Dotson heading into the season and played sparingly as a rotational player in every game.
He was then traded to the Houston Texans in 2023, where he started the first 3 games of the season at guard before being placed on IR after suffering a season-ending meniscus tear in week 4.
Green was signed to a one-year deal by the Bills in March of this year, but was cut and re-signed to the practice squad in August during roster cut-down.
Kendrick Green gives Cleveland an intriguing option on the interior offensive line for 2026, as both Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller are set to become free agents when the new league year begins.
