For the second time this week, a star for the UW Huskies offense has officially declared for the NFL Draft.
Wide receiver Denzel Boston is the latest to join the list of Dawgs in the 2026 draft, making his announcement Wednesday. It comes two days after standout running back Jonah Coleman declared for the draft.

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Field Yates reacted to Boston’s announcement Wednesday by calling him a “first round WR to me” who has “a blend of size, fluidity, versatility to play as a big slot, vice grip hands and great character.”
Boston is a local product who hails from South Hill and attended Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup.
A redshirt junior in 2025, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Boston tied for sixth at the FBS level with 11 touchdown catches. He also was 38th with 881 receiving yards and tied for 38th with 62 receptions in his 12 games. He was named third-team All-Big Ten from both the coaches and the media, having averaged a career-high 73.4 receiving yards per game and 14.2 yards per catch.
Boston was also an All-Big Ten honorable mention as a returner after gaining 104 yards on eight punt returns, including a 78-yard touchdown on Sept. 6 against UC Davis.

In 2024, Boston caught 63 passes for 834 yards and nine TDs.
With Boston, Coleman and quarterback Demond Williams Jr. leading the offense, the UW Huskies finished 9-4 in 2025, including a 38-10 win over Boise State in the LA Bowl on Dec. 13. Boston had 126 yards on six receptions in the bowl win, including a 78-yard touchdown.
