Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens might be heading towards a breakup this upcoming offseason.
The Ravens have enjoyed plenty of regular-season success behind Jackson, who has racked up 22,370 passing yards and 6,513 rushing yards since 2018. However, the Ravens aren’t exactly on great terms with their franchise quarterback. According to Mike Preston of The Baltimore Sun, the two parties are “at a crossroads” right now.

“The Ravens should look at possible trades, which could net them two or three first-round picks,” Preston wrote. “Jackson would love to play in Miami, where quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is no longer the starter, or possibly Las Vegas, where Brady, a partial owner of the Raiders, has shown fondness for him. Baltimore should also draft a young quarterback in the early rounds.”
Even though Jackson would reportedly love to play in the Sunshine State, we don’t see the Miami Dolphins pulling off a massive trade for him.

Don’t rule out the New York Jets.
From a talent standpoint, the New York Jets aren’t exactly close to contending. That being said, they own five first-round picks over the next two drafts. Suffice to say, they have the draft capital to get a trade done.

The Jets also have a massive need at quarterback. They’ve struggled with Justin Fields, Tyrod Taylor and Brady Cook under center this season.
Not only would Jackson give the Jets a much-needed boost at the quarterback position, he’d have the fans feeling hopeful heading into the 2026 season.

Las Vegas Raiders are desperate for quarterback help.
It’s pretty clear the Las Vegas Raiders don’t have their quarterback of the future on their roster. They could potentially draft one in April, but they’re not a lock to get the No. 1 pick.

Instead of scouting Fernando Mendoza and Dante Moore, the Raiders could go all in and mortgage picks for Jackson.
After all, Raiders minority owner Tom Brady has a great deal of admiration for Jackson. Maybe he’ll encourage the front office to do everything in its power to acquire the two-time MVP.

Minnesota Vikings erase their previous mistakes.
Last offseason, the Minnesota Vikings let Sam Darnold walk in free agency so they could hand the keys to the car over to J.J. McCarthy. Let’s just say that turned out to be a mistake.

Darnold is enjoying a Pro Bowl season with the Seattle Seahawks, completing 67.2% of his passes for 3,703 yards with 24 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. McCarthy, on the other hand, has already missed six games due to injury. He’s on track to finish the season with more touchdowns (11) than interceptions (12).
The idea of giving Kevin O’Connell a dynamic quarterback like Jackson is truly exciting. Will it happen though? Only time will tell.
