The Detroit Lions (8-7) travel to U.S. Bank Stadium to battle NFC North rival Minnesota (7-8) in a Christmas Day special where all of the Lions‘ playoff hopes are on the line.

Detroit needs to win its final two games at Minnesota and at Chicago and the Lions need the Green Bay Packers to lose their final two regular-season games versus Baltimore and at Minnesota in order to qualify for the playoffs. While the odds are stacked against them, the Lions still have a mathematical chance and need to play like they do still have something to play for.
