TEXAS — Five Dallas Cowboys players and four with the Houston Texans will represent their teams at the Pro Bowl Games, according to rosters announced Tuesday. The event will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, featuring a skills competition and a seven-on-seven flag football game on Feb 3.

Only three teams, the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks, each with six, had more players named to the roster than the Cowboys. Dallas had as many as the Los Angeles Chargers, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles.

Included in the Cowboys’ roster were four players from the offense: wide receiver George Pickens, guard Tyler Smith, kicker Brandon Aubrey and quarterback Dak Prescott, joining defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, picked up from the Jets at the trade deadline in mid-season.

The Texans feature mostly defensive players: linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, defensive end Will Anderson Jr., and cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., who join wide receiver Nico Collins.

Reserves have not yet been announced, and teams that make a run in the playoffs typically don’t participate, so more Texas players might be forthcoming.
