The 2025 season has gone from bad to worse in a hurry for the Baltimore Ravens.

A month ago, the Ravens were 6-5 and in position to make a run at the AFC North crown. Now, they’re 7-8 heading into a must-win game against the Green Bay Packers. As if that’s not bad enough, Mike Preston of The Baltimore Sun reported that John Harbaugh and Lamar Jackson are at a crossroads.

“It’s clear that coach John Harbaugh has become tired Jackson, even though he builds him up after every game,” Preston said. “He has to, or Jackson will go into his own self-exile.”

Preston added that Jackson would “love to play” for the Miami Dolphins. Although a trade isn’t imminent at this time, it sounds like the Ravens may have to choose between their quarterback and their head coach.

“The Ravens should look at possible trades, which could net them two or three first-round picks,” Preston wrote. “Jackson would love to play in Miami, where quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is no longer the starter, or possibly Las Vegas, where Brady, a partial owner of the Raiders, has shown fondness for him. Baltimore should also draft a young quarterback in the early rounds.”

Harbaugh addressed this report after Wednesday’s practice. He claims there isn’t a rift between him and Jackson.

“So, I don’t know where that’s coming from,” Harbaugh said. “I’ve never seen that ever. That’s not something that I’ve ever witnessed and I’m in every meeting.”

Is Harbaugh on the way out?

Josina Anderson previously reported that a longtime head coach could be looking for a change of scenery in 2026. Maybe she’s referring to Harbaugh, who has been coaching the Ravens since 2008.

“Keeping tabs as we approach Carousel season: League sources are eyeing five more NFL teams with projected openings at head coach, as of where things stand today, while waiting to collect more data on a 6th team too,” Anderson said. “Meanwhile, there’s is a longtime NFL head coach out there who is considering wanting a change of scenery & has told others of these thoughts. If he acts on those lingering feelings, his departure would clearly add to the list of vacancies.”

Do you think the Ravens will make a coaching change?
