The Denver Broncos (12-3) can’t clinch an AFC West title on Christmas Day, but they could take a step closer toward that goal.

If the Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs (6-9) on Thursday and the Houston Texans (10-5) defeat (or tie) the Los Angeles Chargers (11-4) on Saturday, Denver would clinch a division title. And if both those results go the Broncos‘ way, the team could also clinch the AFC’s top seed this weekend.

If Denver wins and L.A. loses, the Broncos would clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC if the New England Patriots (12-3), Buffalo Bills (11-4) and Jaguars (11-4) also lose. New England, Buffalo and Jacksonville will face the New York Jets (3-12), Philadelphia Eagles (10-5) and Indianapolis Colts (8-7), respectively.

After traveling to KC, Denver will return home to host the Chargers in Week 18 to close out the regular season.
