Philadelphia is headed to Buffalo for a potential Super Bowl preview, and all eyes will be on the injury status of Lane Johnson and Josh Allen. In the Bills‘ 23-20 victory over the Browns, quarterback Josh Allen suffered a foot injury while getting sacked. Still, X-rays were negative, and coach Sean McDermott called it day-to-day soreness with full expectation he’ll start Sunday against the Eagles.
On Tuesday, Allen sat out Buffalo’s session, but the quarterback was among four players who were limited participants on Wednesday. Joey Bosa, DaQuan Jones, Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, Jordan Phillips, Jordan Poyer, and Matt Prater DID NOT participate.

The Bills didn’t practice on Thursday, but Allen would have been among five players listed as limited participants.
Cole Bishop and Ray Davis again would have been the only two full participants.
The Bills (11-4) are on a four-game win streak and aim to improve their AFC playoff seeding while protecting Allen’s streak of over 120 straight starts.
On Tuesday, Allen earned another Pro Bowl nod for his outstanding play, which will likely make him an MVP finalist. So far in 2025, Allen threw for 3,406 yards and 25 touchdowns on 296 completions. He has a 69.6 completion percentage. On the ground, he rushed for 552 yards and 12 scores on 105 carries through the first 15 games of the season.

In Weeks 1, 11, and 14, Allen earned the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award. Week 14 was his 18th time earning the award all-time and was his second time being named following a come-from-behind performance.
