We’ve got a little less than ninety minutes before things kick off at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings for this afternoon’s Christmas Day matchup. Both teams have posted their inactive lists for this afternoon’s game, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out.

Decker didn’t practice on Wednesday for the Lions and was one of the boatload of players that Detroit listed as questionable on their final injury report, but he won’t be out there this afternoon. David Montgomery and Amon-Ra St. Brown are both active, as expected. In fact, of the eleven players that the Lions listed as questionable, Colon and Decker are the only ones who will miss today’s contest

O’Neill had been listed as questionable on the final injury report, just as he had been last week, but this week’s game-time decision has him on the sideline rather than out on the field. Hockenson, Mason, and McCarthy had all been declared out on the final injury report, so no surprises there for the Vikings to speak of.

The absence of O’Neill means that the starting offensive line will likely be Justin Skule (LT), Donovan Jackson (LG), Michael Jurgens (C), Will Fries (RG), and Blake Brandel (RT). Yet another new offensive line combination for the purple.

Those are your inactive lists for today’s game, ladies and gentlemen. The first Open Thread of the day will be hitting the site at 3:00 PM Central time, and if you’ve got a few minutes we’d be happy to have you swing by and spend some time with us this afternoon.
