The defense was weak, anemic, and simply could not get off the field. But hey, at least the offense competed well and gave the Commanders fans something to watch as Washington lost its 12th game of the season, Christmas afternoon, falling to the Dallas Cowboys 30-23 at Northwest Stadium.
