The Denver Broncos (13-3) defeated theKansas City Chiefs (6-10) 20-13 on Thursday Night Football in Week 17. Here’s a sampling of how Twitter/X reacted to the closer-than-expected Christmas Day victory.

Man … Bo Nix.

Say what you want, he makes critical throw after critical throw. Tonight the Chiefs challenged him to put together long drives, keep moving the chains on third down, and he keeps doing it.

Bo Nix wasn’t perfect by any standard…but the clutch gene is undeniable.

Broncos about to go 11-2 in one score games & more often than not, Nix is the reason

— Chase Daniel (@ChaseDaniel) December 26, 2025

Bo Nix has the 2nd-most wins by a QB in their first two seasons in the NFL. Bo has 23 wins.

Bo is one win away from tying the all-time record (24) currently held by Russell Wilson.2 pic.twitter.com/8AoKPXTiGe

For context, that’s only the fourth time the Broncos have EVER won at Arrowhead in December.

Bo Nix joins John Elway, Peyton Manning and Kyle Orton as the only QBs to ever lead the Broncos to a win here in December.

First sweep of the Chiefs since 2014

First win in KC since 2015

Wasn’t pretty and didn’t necessarily make anyone feel good. But that’s been this season for Denver

13-3 with the division title and No. 1 seed still within grasp

— Phil Milani (@philmilani) December 26, 2025

It wasn’t easy, but the Broncos have swept the Chiefs for the first time since 2014.

They’ve won four of their last five against KC.

Denver can clinch the AFC West as soon as Saturday with a Houston win over LAC.

Broncos improve to 13-3.

First win at Arrowhead since 2015.

If the Chargers lose on Sunday, Denver will be the AFC West champs.

#Broncos to escape 20-13. Another narrow win this season over an outmanned foe. Can clinch AFC West Saturday if Chargers lose at home to Texans.

— Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) December 26, 2025

#Broncos survive and win, but man.

No style points on Christmas.

If Houston beats the Chargers on Sunday, DEN will take home the AFC West crown.

BRONCOS 20, CHIEFS 13 — FINAL

Denver did just enough to win. The Broncos held the KC remnants below 100 yards until their final series. Denver got the stop at the end. The offense chewed up at least 14 plays on four of its first seven series. The Broncos are 13-3.

— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) December 26, 2025

Final: #Broncos 20, Chiefs 13.

Denver is 13-3. If Houston beats LAC on Saturday, the AFC West crown returns to the Front Range.

Either way, Sean Payton’s team will play for the No. 1 seed against the Chargers in Denver next weekend.

— Parker Gabriel (@ParkerJGabriel) December 26, 2025

The Broncos will now wait for the NFL to finalize the Week 18 schedule in the coming days. Denver will host the Los Angeles Chargers (11-4) on either Saturday (Jan. 3) or Sunday (Jan. 4) to wrap up the regular season. An announcement is expected by Monday.
