Marvin Harrison Jr. Returns To Active Status For Cardinals

The Cardinals are getting healthier at wide receiver for Sunday’s game against the Falcons.

Both Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) and Xavier Weaver (hamstring) return to the lineup after missing a couple of games with their individual maladies. Harrison had said Friday he expected to be back on the field.

Linebacker Cody Simon and safety Rabbit Taylor-Demerson also are active after being listed as questionable. Taylor-Demerson has missed five straight games, so his return helps — especially with fellow safety Jalen Thompson down. The only healthy scratch is cornerback Elijah Jones, the 2024 third-round pick who has had difficulties finding playing time.

The Cardinals have an opening on the 53-man roster, so they have only six inactives for the game.

For the Falcons, wide receiver Drake London is active for the first time in a month.
