Netflix delivered its second annual NFL Christmas Gameday, streaming two epic NFC matchups: the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Commanders 30-23, and the Minnesota Vikings beat the Detroit Lions 23-10.
Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party brought the holiday cheer…and special guests. Kicking off the show was legendary funk icon George Clinton, followed by the one and only Martha Stewart reading a halftime spin on “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” introducing the one and only Snoop Dogg.
Joined by a 30 person choir, drummer boys, and 30 snoopette dancers, Snoop’s set included, among others, “My Favorite Things,” “G Thang,” “Drop it Like it’s Hot,” and the electrifying singing voices of Huntr/X: Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, from Netflix’s most popular film ever and the longest running film in Netflix Top 10, Kpop Demon Hunters, performing 12 Days of Christmas with a Golden touch.
After another trailblazing year, including her 9th country No. 1 single, Grammy Award-winning superstar and this year’s reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, Lainey Wilson, captivated the field performing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from the Snoopmobile. Also joining the stage was Southern soul’s rising star & Death Row Records’ newest sensation, Tonio Armani.
The ultimate Christmas gift, though, was a surprise performance from renowned vocalists Maestro Andrea Bocelli and Matte Bocelli, who brought the holiday celebration to a close with “White Christmas.”
The halftime show will be available as a standalone special on Netflix tomorrow (Fri, Dec 26th).
