SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – The Notre Dame football team is losing another key offensive lineman to the NFL Draft.
Redshirt junior guard Billy Schrauth announced on social media Friday that he is declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.
Schrauth served as a team captain and played a key role on Notre Dame’s offensive line when he was healthy. He had one year of eligibility remaining but is choosing to pursue the NFL.
“To my coaches and teammates at Notre Dame, thank you for pushing me, trusting me, and becoming brothers for life. I’m forever grateful for the memories and lessons we’ve shared,” Schrauth said in his announcement.
Schrauth’s departure comes after fellow redshirt junior offensive lineman Aamil Wagner declared for the draft.
