It wasn’t until late in the 2024 season that the Los Angeles Rams were considered one of the best teams in football. They started the year 1-4 before storming all the way back to finish 10-7 and win the NFC West, taking down the Minnesota Vikings with ease in the wild-card round.

Heading into 2025, expectations are even higher than they were at the start of last season, putting Los Angeles firmly in a group of teams that have a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl.

Touchdown Wire’s Jarrett Bailey is among the many analysts who believe the Rams are poised for a strong season, as evidenced by his record predictions for each team. He has the Rams going 11-6 and winning the West for the second straight season, earning the No. 3 seed in the NFC.

He has the 49ers going 10-7, the Cardinals winning eight games and the Seahawks finishing 5-12, with the Rams and Niners being the two playoff representatives from the West.

The Rams were mere plays from the Super Bowl this past season, and they just added Davante Adams to their offense. They will be in the handful of teams expected to win the Super Bowl.

FOX Sports’ Henry McKenna had a similar outlook for the Rams, picking them to be the No. 2 seed and win three playoff games – all against NFC East teams – to reach the Super Bowl and lose to the Bills.

With a young core in place and proven veterans such as Matthew Stafford, Davante Adams, Rob Havenstein and Tyler Higbee, the Rams are a perfect blend of youth and experience. That should bode well for them in 2025 as they attempt to make a deeper playoff run.
