Buffalo Bills fans face challenges securing seats at the new Highmark Stadium, but staying on the priority list or exploring resale markets offer potential pathways

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have officially sold out their Personal Seat License (PSL) inventory for the new Highmark Stadium, marking a major milestone as anticipation continues to build for the team’s future home.

While many fans were unable to secure a PSL, the team is urging those fans to remain on the New Highmark Stadium priority list, as it may still provide future opportunities to attend games.

According to the Bills, priority list members will receive access to purchase PSLs if seats become available down the line. In addition, fans on the list could also gain access to standing room only tickets, depending on availability for future games.

“There’s that opportunity to buy standing room according to the Bills, and whether they put individual tickets for sale or not, it’s kind of up in the air,” said Nick Giamusso, President of VIPTix.com.

Giamusso noted that while standing room only tickets are a possibility, it remains unclear where those sections will be located inside the new stadium. He added that for fans hoping to regularly attend games at the new venue, the most realistic option may be purchasing tickets from season ticket holders on the secondary market.

“Those PSLs are pretty expensive, so I think season ticket holders are going to choose which games they’re going to want to go to,” Giamusso explained. “I don’t think they’re going to want to see all eight. Certainly some season ticket holders will, but a lot of the time season ticket holders will want to recoup some of their investment with us.”

Despite high demand for Bills tickets this season, Giamusso says availability on the secondary market has remained steady. For this weekend’s game alone, he estimates that more than 1,000 tickets are still available.

“It varies anywhere from 3,500 to 6,000 seats per game currently,” Giamusso said. “As of two days before the big game against Philadelphia, there were still about 1,600 tickets left in the secondary market.”

While PSLs for the new Highmark Stadium are sold out, fans still have multiple paths to attending games—whether through the priority list, potential standing room options, or the resale market. For now, staying on the priority list remains the Bills’ top recommendation for fans hoping to be part of the next era of Buffalo football.
