The Green Bay Packers will be without quarterback Jordan Love for their Saturday evening game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Love has not yet cleared concussion protocol after a rough hit against the rival Chicago Bears last week.

While the Packers have already locked up a playoff spot, this could present a major opportunity for the Ravens – who need to win to keep their hopes of a postseason berth alive.

Malik Willis, the former third-round pick out of Liberty to the Tennessee Titans, is expected to get the start.

It’s likely that practice squad quarterback Clayton Tune will be elevated to the main roster to serve as a backup.

Love was shaken up after he absorbed a helmet-to-helmet hit by Chicago defensive lineman Austin Booker on a second-quarter sack. Booker was flagged for roughing the passer.

Love eventually jogged off the field and went into the blue injury tent on Green Bay’s sideline. Then he walked to the visiting locker room.

Speaking shortly after the game, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he had no update on Love. But as the week went on, Love’s condition did not improve enough to be ready by gametime.

At a record of 9-5-1, the Packers are confirmed to be in the playoffs as at least a Wild Card.

But they would likely need to win the final two games of their regular season – and have the Bears lose twice – in order to win the NFC North.

Baltimore, meanwhile, may also be using a backup quarterback as starter Lamar Jackson suffered a back injury against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

Jackson is currently listed as ‘doubtful’ by the Ravens, meaning Tyler Huntley would deputize if he was out.
