The Green Bay Packers announced the signing of wide receiver Matthew Golden, the team’s first-round pick in the 2025 draft, to a rookie contract on Monday.

Golden, the 23rd overall pick, is the seventh of the Packers’ eight draft picks to sign. Second-round pick Anthony Belton, the 54th overall pick, is the only unsigned player from the team’s 2025 draft class.

According to Over the Cap, Golden’s four-year deal is expected to be worth $17,575,300 in total with a signing bonus of $9,422,056. Like all first-round picks, Golden’s deal includes a fifth-year team option that must be exercised following the player’s third season.

Golden’s cap number will be just under $3.2 million in 2025. Including his signing bonus, Golden will receive over $10 million during his first NFL season.

The Packers previously signed third-round pick Savion Williams, fourth-round pick Barryn Sorrell, fifth-round pick Collin Oliver, sixth-round pick Warren Brinson and seventh-round picks Micah Robinson and John Williams to rookie deals following the draft.
