With two games remaining, the Atlanta Falcons will enter their offseason with several things to address including the future of head coach, Raheem Morris, who is currently 14-18 as the Falcons head coach since being hired in 2024.
On Friday, CBS NFL analyst and two-time Super Bowl champion, Bryant McFadden, joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell, and explained that while year two for Morris has not produced the expected results, the Falcons’ head coach can still make a case for a third season as head coach.
“I think if you’re Raheem Morris and his staff, you want to finish on a good note, because we’re prisoners of the moment and usually the last thing that you do is what we remember the most” McFadden said, expressing why he believes with two games remaining and the potential to end the season on a four-game win streak, Morris and his coaching staff can prove they are deserving of another go.
“That’s a great way to finish the season,” McFadden said, adding he believes “there’s enough time to salvage, not the entirety of the season, but in terms and not necessarily having any heat on them once the season ends, you want to finish on a good note,” McFadden said.
