The Miami Dolphins are eliminated from postseason contention, but the Week 17 matchup brings high stakes for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the NFC South still up in the air, a win against the Dolphins would guarantee Tampa Bay the opportunity to take the division title in Week 18 with a win against the Carolina Panthers. A loss to the Dolphins could hand the Panthers the crown before that duel even happens.

Will Miami play the role of spoiler? Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel isn’t worried about that.

“What our team needs to go against and beat, is somebody that needs the win,” McDaniel said earlier this week. “From our vantage point, I like the competition of it. As far as their journey and trying to play spoiler, I’m more of we need to finish the season.”
