The Pittsburgh Steelers received encouraging news on the health front as they continue preparations for their upcoming matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

With kickoff approaching, availability across the roster has been closely monitored, especially in the secondary, where depth and experience play a major role in division games.

That watch officially ended with clarity from the team on Saturday. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who had been dealing with an illness earlier in the week, has been upgraded to having no injury designation on the Steelers’ final injury report. The update confirms that Ramsey is expected to be available without restrictions for the Browns game.

Ramsey’s clearance is a significant boost for Pittsburgh’s defense heading into a physical AFC North showdown. The veteran cornerback remains a key piece of the Steelers’ coverage unit, bringing versatility, experience, and the ability to match up against top receiving threats. His presence allows the defense to maintain its preferred alignments rather than adjusting due to absences.

According to ESPN data, Jalen Ramsey has delivered a productive 2025 season in the Steelers’ secondary. He has totaled 77 tackles, including 46 solo stops, while adding three sacks, showing his versatility near the line of scrimmage. Ramsey has also recorded one interception and seven pass breakups, continuing to impact games as a physical, all-around defensive presence.

After missing practice time earlier in the week, Ramsey’s return to full status signals that the illness is no longer a concern. With no designation attached to his name, the Steelers can now move forward with their full defensive game plan intact as they prepare for a critical divisional contest against Cleveland.
