LAS VEGAS — In the past two offseasons, Mike Kafka interviewed with eight different NFL teams for head coaching vacancies — six in 2024 and two in 2025. 

He was a finalist for two jobs in ’24: the Saints and Bears. 

If he wasn’t a hot commodity, Kafka was at least a commodity with a potentially bright future as a head coach.
