NEW ORLEANS, La. — The New Orleans Saints are set to take on the Tennessee Titans with two wide receivers questionable and several offensive weapons out. Consequently, the team has elevated two pass-catchers for the matchup.

The Saints announced the following roster moves on Saturday afternoon:

Bell will see his first action as a New Orleans Saint, his first game since Week 12 of last year. With fellow wideouts Chris Olave (back) and Mason Tipton (groin) both managing injury, having a fifth option available at receiver is a wise move.

Olave is expected to be good to go for the game.

Welch, a former wide receiver, had an impressive preseason, but has spent much of the regular season on the practice squad without game exposure. He appeared in just one game, Week 3 at the Seattle Seahawks, earlier this year.

With tight end Foster Moreau sent to injured Reserve and Taysom Hill likely to see more work out of the backfield than in-line, adding Welch to the game day roster will get the team a third option as a traditional tight end.
