The Philadelphia Eagles faced the Washington Commanders in Week 16 of the NFL season.
Coming in, the Eagles held a 9-5 record and looked to better position themselves in the NFC playoff picture.
Philadelphia didn’t start the game the way it would have liked, facing a 10-7 deficit at the half.

The Eagles added to their total and took a 14–10 lead in the third quarter, but most of the action took place in the fourth quarter.
With 4:26 left in the game, and a 29-10 Eagles’ lead, things got chippy.
Philadelphia running back Tank Bigsby took a carry 22 yards to the endzone for a touchdown. The Eagles decided to go for a two-point conversion, and Saquon Barkley converted.
After the attempt was successful, Eagles offensive guard Tyler Steen got into it with multiple players on the Commanders’ defense. Steen was disqualified from the game shortly after.

On Saturday, the NFL revealed the fines for Week 16, and Steen was listed twice.
The first fine came out to be $8,435 for what the NFL put into the description of “Striking/kicking/tripping/kneeing.”
Steen was also fined another $8,435 for a swing.

Steen is in his third season in the NFL and third with the Eagles. He was selected in the third round of the 2023 draft after playing his collegiate football at both Vanderbilt and Alabama.
The 6-foot-6, 321-pounder will not face any further discipline beyond the fines and will be available when the Eagles face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
