The Tennessee Titans are making final adjustments ahead of their Week 17 matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
In a move that was somewhat expected, Tennessee placed cornerback Marcus Harris on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his promising rookie season with two weeks to go. Harris has looked solid since taking over as the primary slot cornerback after the Titans traded Roger McCreary at the trade deadline. It’s a disappointing end to the season for Harris, who came on after being a sixth-round draft choice and working his way up the depth chart.Â
To take his place this week against the Saints, the Titans are using a standard elevation on cornerback Kemon Hall. This will be the second elevation for Hall, who was active in Week 16 and stepped in for Harris when he went down against the Kansas City Chiefs.Â
Hall is a veteran with some experience with the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers, and he proved to be a valuable depth piece against the Chiefs, holding down the slot once Harris went down.Â
