On Christmas Day, the Green Bay Packers clinched a spot in the NFC playoff field via the Detroit Lions‘ loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Two days later, the Packers suffered a blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Lambeau Field and are now locked into the No. 7 seed in the NFC.
The 41-24 loss to the Ravens clinched the NFC North title for the Chicago Bears, who will host at least one playoff game at Soldier Field. The Bears are the favorite to become the No. 2 seed, which would set up a third game between the Packers and Bears in the NFC Wild Card Round.

While the Bears have the best chance to be the No. 2 seed, the Packers could also play the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers or Philadelphia Eagles to open the postseason based on the results of the final two weeks.
The Packers entered Saturday night with a chance to stay alive in the NFC North race. But Matt LaFleur’s team ended up allowing over 300 rushing yards and were dominated by the Ravens from start to finish on Saturday night at Lambeau Field, giving the Bears the one result needed to clinch the division title.
The Packers will be the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoffs for the third consecutive season. In 2023, the Packers shocked the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys, becoming the first No. 7 seed to win a playoff game. Last season, the Packers lost 22-10 to the Philadelphia Eagles, the eventual Super Bowl champions.
