There are three NFL games set for Christmas, and the first of the games to kick off on Thursday, Dec. 25 is between a pair of NFC East rivals as the Washington Commanders host the Dallas Cowboys at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md.

This NFL game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on CBS in Dallas and Washington DC. Both teams are officially out of playoff contention after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Commanders at Northwest Stadium on Saturday to clinch the NFC East and eliminate the Cowboys.

Dallas is 6-8-1 after its own loss last week to the Los Angeles Chargers, which was the third straight for the Cowboys, after they defeated the Eagles and the other participant in last season’s Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs, in a five-day span.

The Commanders had lost eight straight prior to a win over the New York Giants earlier this month, but following the last loss, Washington is 4-11 entering this matchup.
