The Patriots are 12-3 and need to keep pace with the Denver Broncos in order to hopefully jump them next week and slide into the No. 1 seed in the conference. With a victory over the 3-12 Jets, New England would clinch its first division title since 2019, Tom Brady’s last season with the team.
In the first meeting between these teams, Drake Maye had 281 passing yards and a score while rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had 92 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in a 27-14 win. This time around, the running back is coming into the game after clearing concussion protocol. The Patriots are now looking to seal an undefeated season on the road following last week’s massive 28-24 victory in Baltimore against the Ravens. Stefon Diggs led all receivers that game with nine catches and 138 yards while Maye tossed for 380 in his first contest with at least 300 passing yards. The closest Maye got before that was in Cincinnati in late November when he threw for 294 yards in a 26-20 win over the Bengals.
