Cooper Albers provides his top player prop bets for Sunday’s Week 17 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins.

In-state rivals collide on Sunday afternoon as the Miami Dolphins host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Buccaneers (7–8, 2nd NFC South) still have an outside shot at the postseason and will look to build momentum ahead of a potentially division-deciding Week 18 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The Dolphins (6–9, 3rd AFC East) have been eliminated from postseason contention but will aim to derail their fellow Florida squad.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay enters as a 5.5-point road favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Miami is listed as a +220 underdog. The game’s total is set at 44.5 points.

Here are the top player prop bets for Sunday’s Week 17 matchup between the Buccaneers and Dolphins.

Buccaneers vs. Dolphins Best Prop Bets

De’Von Achane Over 101.5 Rush + Receiving Yards (-115)

De’Von Achane continues to play a starring role in Miami’s offense. This season, the third-year running back has rushed for a career-high 1,267 yards — the third-most in the NFL — while leading the league in yards per carry (5.8). He also remains active in the passing game, contributing 459 receiving yards, as well.

Achane has surpassed 101.5 combined rushing and receiving yards in eight games this season, including six of his last seven. If Tampa Bay can limit the star’s effectiveness on the ground, he could exploit their vulnerable secondary, which allows the NFL’s fifth-most passing yards, and rack up yardage through the air.

Baker Mayfield 22+ Completions (+136)

Veteran quarterback Baker Mayfield struggled since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 12, but he looks poised for a strong outing against Miami, which has one of the weaker secondaries in the league.

The Dolphins have allowed the NFL’s highest opponent completion rate (71.5%), a brutal mark that has enabled quarterbacks to consistently move the ball through the air. In their last three games, excluding the New York Jets, opposing QBs have completed 23 or more passes in each matchup: Aaron Rodgers finished with 23 completions at an 85% clip; Joe Burrow threw for 25 at 78% accuracy; and Tyler Shough piled up 26 on 68% efficiency.

Mayfield, who has topped 22 completions five times this season, is likely to continue that trend on Sunday afternoon.
