The intertwined nature of the AFC North, especially at the quarterback position, is interesting. The Cleveland Browns had five quarterbacks in training camp this year. After starting QB Joe Flacco for the first few games of the season, the Browns traded him away to in-state division rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals.

QB Tyler Huntley was also a part of that QB competition, but he, like Flacco and QB Kenny Pickett, has since moved on. Huntley returned to the Baltimore Ravens, first as a member of their practice squad, then to their active roster. With the Ravens season on the brink, and the Browns NFL draft hopes also impacted, Baltimore turned to Huntley on Saturday night with QB Lamar Jackson unable to play against the Green Bay Packers.

Carried by RB Derrick Henry’s 36 rushes for 216 yards and four touchdowns, Huntley helped guide the Ravens offense with a steady 16/20, 107 yards, one passing touchdown, and 60 yards rushing performance. After the game, Huntley joked that he would be calling his former teammate, Cleveland’s starting QB, Shedeur Sanders, as Baltimore needs a Pittsburgh loss on Sunday:

The Ravens will be eliminated if the Steelers beat the Browns on Sunday. Cleveland fans are mostly rooting for 2026 NFL draft order positioning at this point, but beating Pittsburgh is always a top goal as well. Sadly, that outcome would also help Baltimore as well.
