Someone’s finally getting their long-awaited third win this afternoon.
Today, at 4:05 p.m. ET, Jaxson Dart’s 2-13 New York Giants are traveling to Sin City to take on Geno Smith’s 2-13 Las Vegas Raiders.
At the time of publication, both clubs are riding nine-game losing streaks complete with nail-biting, one-score heartbreakers and painful laughers.
Most recently, Big Blue fell 16-13 to the Minnesota Vikings at their home MetLife Stadium in week 16. Although the game was close, Dart couldn’t capitalize in the fourth quarter on the team’s final drive and got sacked on a pivotal fourth down.
“I would say probably early on in the game, there was a few plays where just decision-wise, check-wise, I feel like I could have done a little bit more,” Dart said.
As for Las Vegas, they stayed competitive throughout the first half of their recent 31-14 loss against the Chargers. However, Los Angeles exploded in the third and fourth quarter leading to Vegas’ 13th L.
