Ja’Marr Chase doesn’t need gimmicks or viral moments to command headlines and attention. The Cincinnati Bengals’ star wide receiver lets production do the talking.
During Cincinnati’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, the Bengals’ star wide receiver quietly crossed a statistical threshold the league has never seen before, further cementing his status as one of the NFL’s most reliable offensive weapons.

While the game itself carried playoff implications, Chase’s milestone added another layer to an already impressive afternoon. At just 24 years old, he continues to stack accomplishments that place him in rare historical company, not only among current receivers but across generations.
With his performance against Arizona, Chase officially became the first wide receiver in NFL history to record 80 or more receptions, 1,000 or more receiving yards, and at least seven touchdowns in each of his first five NFL seasons. No receiver before him, including Hall of Famers and modern superstars, has matched that level of consistency so early in a career.
Since entering the league in 2021, Chase has been the cornerstone of Cincinnati’s passing attack, thriving regardless of coverage, quarterback changes, or defensive game plans designed to slow him down.

Ja’Marr Chase finished the 2024 NFL season with historic numbers, catching 127 passes for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns, leading the league in all three categories and earning the receiving “Triple Crown.” He set Bengals single-season records and was a First-Team All-Pro selection.
His ability to produce year after year has made him a matchup nightmare and a constant focal point for opposing defenses. And the milestone against the Cardinals wasn’t just another stat. It was a reminder that Ja’Marr Chase isn’t chasing history anymore. But he’s actively rewriting it.
