The Miami Dolphins entered Sunday at No. 11 in the 2026 NFL draft order. A 20-17 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not have impacted that at all.

While the Dolphins improved to 7-9 with the win, it only bumped them to No. 12 in the order. If the Atlanta Falcons manage to pull off an upset victory against the Los Angeles Rams later Sunday, the Dolphins would end up right back where they started the day: at No. 11.

A loss in Week 18 could mean the Dolphins end up as early as No. 9 in the draft order. With a win, they could end up as far down as No. 16.

With two games left in Week 17 and only one game left for the Dolphins next weekend, here’s how the order for the 2026 NFL draft currently stands (strength of schedule tiebreaker in parentheses):

Las Vegas Raiders: 2-14 (.544)New York Giants: 3-13 (.531)New York Jets: 3-13 (.548)Tennessee Titans: 3-13 (.574)Arizona Cardinals: 3-13 (.577)Cleveland Browns: 4-12 (.491)Washington Commanders: 4-12 (.509)New Orleans Saints: 6-10 (.491)Kansas City Chiefs: 6-10 (.509)Cincinnati Bengals: 6-10 (.518)Los Angeles Rams (via Atlanta Falcons): 6-9 (.496)Miami Dolphins: 7-9 (.483)Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 7-9 (.530)Dallas Cowboys: 7-8-1 (.437)Detroit Lions: 8-8 (.496)Baltimore Ravens: 8-8 (.506)Minnesota Vikings: 8-8 (.519)New York Jets (via Indianapolis Colts): 8-8 (.535)

The Dolphins will finish their season with a road matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 18.
