KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After an abysmal 2025 regular season for the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s not too early get a glimpse of the Chiefs’ 2026 opponents as we enter the new year.

With the Chiefs set to finish third in the AFC West, they will face a third-place schedule, meaning they will face the third-place team from the AFC South, AFC North and NFC South.

They will also face the entire AFC East and NFC West, and of course, they’ll battle their AFC West foes twice each.

The Chiefs are scheduled to play nine away games and eight home games after having nine home games and eight away games in 2025.

Atlanta Falcons/New Orleans Saints

The Chiefs will spend a lot more time on the West Coast than usual during the 2026 season, having to take two trips to LA and trips to Seattle, Phoenix and Vegas.

They’ll also face the Bills for the seventh consecutive season, a matchup that provides the NFL with fireworks annually.

11/12 Chiefs have been decided, but the Chiefs still have to wait to see how the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans finish their seasons as both teams hold similar records and face each other in Week 18. The Chiefs will visit whoever finished in third place in the NFC South.

As for now, the Chiefs will close their season next Sunday on the road against the Raiders at 3:25 p.m.
