The date of the Patriots-Dolphins Week 18 regular season finale is no longer a mystery.
The league put out the schedule following the Sunday night game between the Bears and 49ers.
The Patriots, 13-3, will host the Dolphins, 7-9, on Sunday at 4:25 p.m., it was announced.
Mike Vrabel’s team has captured the AFC East along with a playoff berth, would still love to win out to give themselves a chance to take the AFC’s top seed.
They are currently tied with the Denver Broncos for the top spot, which would net home field advantage for the playoffs along with a first-round bye.
The Broncos, 13-3, will also be playing at 4:25 (EST), as they host the LA Chargers. If both the Patriots and Broncos win, Denver would take the top seed by virtue of their record against common opponents.
“We still got one more game to go execute,” Patriots safety Jaylinn Hawkins said following the Patriots 42-10 blowout win over the New York Jets. “We want to close it out and play to our standard and get better. We’re playing for a lot.”
The Patriots, who closed out with an 8-0 road record, won the first meeting with the Dolphins, 33-27, in their Week 2 matchup at Hard Rock Stadium.
