Cincinnati Bengals postgame wrap following win over Arizona Cardinals

Enquirer beat reporter Kelsey Conway breaks down the Bengals win over the Cardinals on Dec. 28.

The NFL announced its Week 18 schedule after the Sunday Night Football game between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers, and the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns will meet Sunday, Jan. 4 at 1 p.m. Eastern on CBS at Paycor Stadium.

Both the Browns and the Bengals won in Week 17. The Bengals routed the Arizona Cardinals, 37-14, to improve to 6-10. The Browns knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers, 13-6, to move to 4-12.

Cleveland’s win set up a Week 18 showdown for the AFC North title between the 9-7 Steelers and 8-8 Baltimore Ravens.

Bengals backup quarterback Joe Flacco, who replaced starter Joe Burrow during the fourth quarter of the win against Arizona, was the Browns’ quarterback for the Week 1 meeting between Cleveland and Cincinnati at Huntington Bank Field.

Burrow led the Bengals to a win against Flacco and the Browns in Week 1, 17-16.

In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern), with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. Eastern), or Sunday night (8:20 p.m. Eastern).
