In Week 17, Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers entered a game with Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns. A Steelers win would’ve secured the AFC North division, but they lost, 13-6.
That means a winner-takes-all Week 18 showdown between the Steelers and Baltimore Ravens in the final game of the regular season.

Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders earned his second win as the starting QB with the other coming on November 23 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Sanders went 17-of-23 for 186 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in Week 17 against the Steelers, and the touchdown pass came in the first quarter as Cleveland jumped out to an early 10-0 lead.
After the game, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski was asked about Sanders’ performance.
“He got a win, so that’s great for the young man,” Stefanski said. “He gets to beat Pittsburgh, a division rival. They’re not going to be easy, not in this division. So proud of him for that. There’s always things he can clean up. I thought we got a little unlucky with that first interception. We can certainly learn from the second one, and he will. But yeah, he continued to battle.”

The first interception came in the second quarter as Steelers rookie Jack Sawyer picked off the pass. But, the pass was deflected, and Sanders was pressured on the play.
The second one came in the fourth quarter and seems to be one that Stefanski and the Browns will look at.
Sanders has thrown just seven touchdown passes to 10 interceptions this season, so that has been an issue for the rookie signal-caller.
But, at the end of the day, the Browns survived with a stunning AFC North win, although Sanders will look to continue cleaning things up as he hopes to be the starter in 2026.
