AUBURN, Ala. (WSFA) – Auburn Wide Receiver Cam Coleman is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple reports.
The former five-star recruit from Phenix City just finished his second year at Auburn and is the latest in a list of starters who have opted to move on from the Tigers this offseason.
Coleman is expected to be the No. 1 wide receiver available in the transfer portal when it officially opens this Friday.
He has been a highly-touted receiver over the last two season and was a centerpiece of Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class.
In his time at Auburn, he has racked up 1,306 total receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 93 catches across 25 games. His size and speed have made him one of the most versatile receivers in college football.
ESPN listed him as the No. 5 overall recruit in their 2024 ranking index.
While the sophomore has two more years of eligibility, he is already expected to be a prized NFL Draft prospect beginning next year.
Offensive tackle Xavier Chaplin, defensive lineman Malik Blocton, linebacker Robert Woodyard Jr. and cornerbacks Kayin Lee and Jay Crawford are also among the Tigers starters who’ve announced plans to transfer.
